Potential warlock buffs discussion.

Hello guardians, I want to get a thread going where we discuss potential warlock buffs to make them more viable and competitive in the crucible. I know everyone wants some of the nova warp changes reverted and I do too but I have seen plenty of threads on that already and I want increased viability across the board. Some of my ideas are as follows: Increased glide speed for all glides. Weapons ready instantly after blinking Reduced blink cool down. Reduced charge rate of all chargable grenades. Reduced cast time of healing and empowering rifts. Dawnblade top tree rework and potential neutral game buffs to bottom tree although bottom tree is pretty good it's entirely geared towards the super and the final point restores very little HP. That's all I can think of for the time being, any other thoughts and comments are much appreciated. Have a good day guys and may the RNG be with you. EDIT 1: after a little more thought maybe certain exotics could use a helping hand, nothing major but maybe the increased turn radius effect of traction on transversive steps would be nice, although I know they can roll with traction it just seems like something that should already be built it. I've also experimented with the ahamkara gauntlets with chaos reach for the extra melee but a lot of people dont rate them in comparison to ophidian aspect or transversive, contraverse hold I find much more effective with attunement of fission but can if your landing melee attacks in attunement of chaos it can also be pretty effective. As I've said in a comment I'm thinking of the wider community. I also dont think a class should require more skill to play than the others intrinsically I believe it should just be different but require equal skill (or as close as) to be as effective. This is just my opinion however. I'm by no means the most experienced player or the best source of balance testing across different subclasses. Thanks for reading this long post.   • The only thing warlocks need to be competitive in crucible is a skillful player using them. Dawnblade can be arguably the deadliest super in pvp if used by a skilled player.

    • - Glide is fine, especially with high mobility (use middle glide). I run 5 mobility usually. 8+ is fast. - Weapon ready after blink is how it is PURELY based off the NERF to blink from Destiny 1 "Blink shotgun" combo that Hunters and Warlocks destroyed Titans and each other with....including those who choose not to run blink too. Refer to this post from 20115: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/151222822 - use grenade mods. each cuts 10% FOR A TOTAL WITH 5 MODS 50% REDUCTION IN CHARGE TIMES. With Warlocks you tend to have to spec build out 100%...not just move this here or there...you have to build a complete build and they rock after that. - I do think the animation is "slow" for class abilities but its really not an issue for me, even in competitive, as long as i place strategically and being a bit of cover. - the top tree is for air control, the bottom is for slaying with super, middle has great support style neutral game. the class itself covers the big 3 aspects of the game well IF used properly: Air Space, Super (attacking with dawnblade offers a rain of hellfire blades with a huge amount of speed/well giving you the health buff and damage buff-supporting or locking down points/angles for map control) the class does it all. just takes more to use effectively. #SkillBuild
