The next six months are already laid out in the so-called Bungie road map. They are going to drip feed the meager content they already have developed.
The REAL test will be the six months from June to December 2019. My bet is Bungie simply drops future content from the Destiny franchise and just lets it die. Bungie has no source of income for Destiny and no financial support from a publisher. They also lost the two satellite studios they had working on D2 content as they were brought onboard by Activision and they left with them.
Bungie has their new $100M contract with NetEase to produce another title. That is where the Bungie resources will go.

They literally dropped 4 minimal encounters and EVERYTHING else outside the raid lair was recycled content....that we already paid for. No new missions, strikes, maps....and if Jokers really just revolves around gambit with no new satisfying endgame PVE content theyll see a player drop like they never have in 4.5 years.
