For me, Shattered Throne has been better than any Raid in the series. It is manageable and doesn't sacrifice fun to be challenging. As mainly a solo player, it has been a godsend. Can we expect anymore Dungeons in the future? Here are some changes to Dungeons that would make it a true endgame experience:
- Dungeon exclusive legendary gear with curated and random rolls.
- Gear with perks that are relevant in Dungeon content.
- Heroic Dungeon(s) with Modifiers and challenges with rotating weekly rewards.
- Ornaments and Wish-Ender Catalyst to improve the weapon.
- Dungeon exclusive shaders and Ghost.

Here is the thing about dungeons. They are the perfect way to teach basic raid like mechanics in a confined space that is digestible to those that participate. They should be used much more often as the difficulty between strikes and raids.

I haven't seen the shattered throne. Sounds fun, but am missing it. Don't do Raids either. Folks appear to enjoy teaming with me, but I'm less than zero at stand-on-this-shoot-at-that puzzles. I can do it with help, but am not motivated to remember it. First saw Ada after being in client meetings for days. Didn't need to waive a coupon at a robot and be diminished more than I already am; haven't gone to the edz and done black whatever at all. If Bungie keeps it up I won't have much to do. Maybe they can offer a tshirt for us under-achievers.

Definitely one of the coolest aspects of Foresaken. Special gear is a great idea. the Wish Ender questline is a great way to showcase how to uncover secrets in a dungeon on your second time through. I would love to see multiple dungeons tied to a title. BUT make sure that any gear that isn't tied to a quest, a guaranteed drop (for an achievement or something), or farmable isnt a requirement for the title.

Would have preferred Niobe Labs to be a dungeon instead of the puzzle nonsense we got. Instead of Taken, we'd have had Fallen, with maybe a spider tank boss that is shielded by servitors, and Siviks as the end boss with maybe some giant Shanks that are shielded with drones like they were in the Niobe Labs puzzle.

Yes! Exclusive gear from dungeons! That’s my only complaint about Shattered Throne. (Lack of exclusive gear besides wish ender)

由Galactic Zones編輯: 1/15/2019 12:29:33 AMRaids in D2 have been mostly awful. Going forward Bungie should phase out raids and instead do more dungeons and 6 man strikes like Crota’s End.

I like the Shattered Throne but its definitely not better than raiding. Why? You can't duplicate the moments that happen in raids anywhere else. The raids just have a certain feeling to them which is what makes them great. Then you have something like Shattered Throne thats endgame but fairly simple. Even though my in game time was 40 minutes when we did it, 2 of us were afk for a few minutes and we were just screwing around for a good 10. We only spent like 20ish minutes actually fighting. Wasn't all too engaging. We didn't even coordinate anything, we just ran through without giving a damn. While in some instances thats good, in the long run a dungeon shouldn't be like that if it a 3 man activity. Here's my thing. We should have more dungeons so we have more easily accessible and somewhat difficult endgame content but we need raids for end game content that actually requires you to be somewhat engaged that requires more coordination.

I 100% agree with this. I completed it for the first time this weekend and i thought it was very fun. As i too am a SOLO player. I kept hearing that it is almost like a raid lair so i was eager to try and loved it. I hope they can come out with many more. Specific loot would be super awesome as well.

I agree! The dungeon to me has been the greatest PVE activity Bungie has made for D2. My friends and I always have a blast when we get to play it every cursed cycle. It is in the sweet spot when it comes to difficulty, there are secrets to discover, the mechanics are basic and easy to explain to new people but are still very fun, it gave really good power drops back in the pre-600 times, has a very good chance at exotics. I hope they bring more of these to the game!

Would be cool if the dungeons were like a mini prep raid that gives dungeon and raid specific perks so that people can go into the raid prepared.

shattered throne is a good dungeon, but it isn‘t fun anymore since you get nothing new from it, like gears or weapons which you can get only in the dungons. I had so much fun playing, but after compliting it 5 times I got bored and could never imagin myslef to get back in there until the quest from izanamis burden was released.

由Corrick II編輯: 1/14/2019 4:00:32 PMAlso, dungeons with color. As a solo player, I love the dungeon concept, but man... I HATE the Taken. The Ascendant Realm is a cool idea and all, but the black and white color palette and bullshit Taken enemies is just a big "no thanks" for me. And to anyone saying Dungeons should be a "raid-prep", no. Just no. Dungeons should be their own thing and have their own personality. If some raid mechanics work for them, fine, but the raids are so full of stupid puzzles and crap that adding all of that to Dungeons as some kind of raid tutorial would just make them suck.

The main reason I like the dungeon is because it is challenging, and requires you to know what you are doing, but doesn't require a lot of coordination.
