Crown of tempest is cool and all but that essentially the only thing going for storm right about now . Attunement of conduction - The whole concept is to chain damage. And it’s missing the key element to helping it do so. Super conductor is entirely left out of the perk pool. In which it would double its chaining abilities. Chain Lighting- has been the worst option melee for Stormcaller since taken king and of course it had to make its return. It does half damage only to one other target and it’s only effective on trash mobs. Amplitude needs to replace this useless perk and make charged melee hit at an extended range like d1. Ionic blink is cool but it needs to be its own jump option like blink is for void walkers. So it could be used in and out of super. And as a replacement perk superconductor would replace it for the perk tree. Again benefiting the whole purpose of the super by increasing chained lighting. Arc web- I can’t help but feel like this perk still does nothing. And only saw it’s true capabilities in d1. It says enemies damaged by your grenades chain deadly lighting to nearby enemies. There’s nothing deadly about multiple people getting tagged by a grenade and not dying. It needs to do more damage. No complaints on transcendence works as intended Attunement of the Elements- no way and hell are Stormcallers supposed to be a support role. So there’s no reason to have two perks trying to do so. Electrostatic mind needs to be back to what it used to be. Now I’m not looking for the super cooldown with allies nearby like d1 or the stupid rift cooldown we got in d2. We have 8 Exotics alone tied to rift cooldown so it needs to be changed. The key part missing from electrostatic mind is enemies nearby while in storm trance take damage. Giving it a bit of a defensive fight. Arc soul - is absolutely trash and again is tied to a rift. Arc soul is nothing but a trash mob killer as well. It has no place in pvp even after a change to it. The perk needs to be gutted and replaced with Perpetual charge. As it would do a better job then arc soul in both pvp and pve. Perpetual charge- grenade kills recharge melee and melee kills recharge grenade. Tying this with crown of tempests and you are a one man army Landfall no complaints works just fine. But it should knock back targets it doesn’t kill and Needs a buff in pve. Rising storm works just fine. Attunement of control Chaos reach- now it’s the dps powerhouse since nova bomb still sucks. With that being said. There’s no reason to cancel the super at any given time so we have a whole perk that’s useless. My other complaints is how fragile it is vs how long it takes to kill another guardian is a joke. Not only that but has no movement and half of the time your screen is blocked and all you see is your damn character
Wanna know a fun fact? Chaos Reach literally does not register when used against an enemy Banner Shield blocking from the front, nor does it work against Taken Blights. It's not that they're immune, there aren't even any hitmarkers to begin with. That means you're wasting your Super for absolutely nothing. It works against normal Sentinel block, it even works against Bubble, essentially trading Super for Super, and with Geomags, you probably have enough leftover to kill the Titan if they don't get out of the way in time. And for some reason, it goes right through a deflecting Arcstrider's guard, just outright killing it.
