Everyone is using them, and they are cancerous to the game mode. It's almost impossible to counteract especially when they are the one invading as they can see right where you are, so they can charge before coming around corners. Also, you don't get to know where they are, so countering is much more difficult. Yes, you have your teammates, but that isn't always reliable as not everyone plays with a full fireteam. There isn't a travel time for the linear fusion rifle, so one hit kills (even with overshields) is a bit ridiculous given the circumstances being that the invader comes in at a good enough distance that there isn't a negative to using one as a charge from a distance where you see your enemies without them knowing where you are isn't hard at all to achieve. Gambit is littered with LFRs, and it's completely ruining the game mode, imo. I hope people think about it thoroughly as this is the only complaint I've ever had about Destiny, and I think it's legitimate. Let me know what you think about it, but please be respectful.
