@BungieHelp i recently bought a destiny 2 emblem off of ebay for $4.00. The seller put the emblem on my account but whatever he did to put the emblem on screwed up my account. Now all of the exclusive emblems i owned are now gone from my collection. Can you help me out? @Bungie
Dear Guardian,
Your old account was taken and replaced with a new one. Your account age is 0 which means it was just created as Destiny 1 was over 3 years ago. There is no way to recover the old one if he linked it off to one of his profiles.
NEVER give your account information to ANYONE for any reason (even Bungie employees). Emblems that are legal are codes you redeem on your Bungie profile here
Sounds like the ebay seller abandoned your old account when adding the emblem. You’ll need to try & go through steps to reobtain your old Bungie profile (assuming it was w/in the previous 90 days). However, if the new code was entered on your “new” profile, then it is stuck to that new profile & you will then need to determine which profile you wish to keep & only the emblems associated with that Bungie profile will be usable.
Also, you should NEVER provide your account/login information to anyone. If that was a legit seller of the emblem, then he/she/they should have just sent you the code to enter on your account instead of using shady methods.
Rule 1... NEVER give your log in to anyone. Not that I condone buying of emblems, but if it was legit, they would have given you the code, they would not need to login to "apply" the code for you.
You do know that said seller did an illegal hack to put the emblem in your account right? Is it the guy saying not to delete the emblems after he puts it in your account?
