由ArillatheMun編輯: 12/17/2017 12:48:52 AMI hope Xur is removed from the game. Giving out exotics like this, just makes everyones collection a mirror image. There is no diversity. The RNG is pointless, with Xurs existence. He is counter productive to the definition of "exotic". . . Edit - apparently this comment has attracted attention. I half assed my statement to begin with. So... here goes: "remove" is the wrong word. "replace" should have been said. I feel Xur simply giving weapons away for a currency everyone has too much of, is counter productive to the loot system. I feel, that with how so many threads on this forum are "no incentive to play", "lack of grind" etc, a way to solve this issue would be to replace the current Xur with a system that is somewhat similar to the prophecy weapons, you have some inclination of what you will get at the end of the grind with in game hints or google, and this is a guaranteed piece of gear. This isn't something you grind out in a couple of hours. This is something that requires commitment. If you REALLY want a piece of gear, you do this. You take a week or two. You get your loot, for the hours you put in. It would flesh out the game, create more activities to do, especially if "the grind" is different for each exotic. All the while, during that grind you have the very possibility to get RNG'd and get it as regular exotic loot. Currently, everyone buys whatever exotic Xur sells that they don't have, and thats the end of the story. What is rewarding about grinding hundreds of hours, to get duplicates over and over then Xur selling it for a handful of shards? -blam!- all. What would be rewarding about actively seeking out the item you have wanted for a decent amount of time and perhaps stumbling across other exotics you want, in the process? The entire process... More than can be said for buying a Xur item as is. It should be that the guarenteed exotics are something you work for. Not a simple buy for -blam!--all shards. This current system doesn't reward people who put the effort in. And a system like i've suggested is a really, really easy way to add more to the games content. it could be like a blend between the Mida quest and Prophecies. I'm sure the Bungo team could make something out of it.

In D1 it was a Meh Exotic so I will assume in D2 it is the same Meh gun... On the other hand if Xur wants to sell the Crimson then I will buy 3 :)

If a sizeable number of people want it, Bungie will add it to Xur's Inventory. At the moment, I don't see any people wanting it. I personally do, though.
