jump or slide your character stops sprinting
Jumping should not BUT this is with 'Toggle' sprint. I'm not sure of the behavior with 'hold' sprint. Sliding has always stopped sprinting, I doubt that's something that they will change. It's a core mechanic. Same with Reload. You need to do some research on some of these mechanics before demanding a 'fix'

 • I'm using hold to sprint and it feels clunky. Other FPS react differently, no need to research further.

 • Don't be so "PC arrogant" that you feel you don't need to do research. Toggle has always been there on console and I'm not sure if the hold sprint was added for PC. I'm a PC vet but when I played the beta I think I left it on toggle to have it feel the same as the console. In Battlefield I was a sprint hold person too though so I get it. I have a suspicion that the mechanics were built around toggle. I don't think they should change the behavior based on "toggle or hold" because it needs to be consistent across the board but should look to smooth it out. As someone already said, sliding has always taken you out of sprint. They're not going to change that core behavior just for PC.

 • Slow down dude, it's not a PC vs console battle. The behavior is the same for console and PC. Even if you toggle sprint, you have to press the button again after sliding. Feels clunky doesn't it?

 • Sorry, seen a lot of posts of 'new' PC players wanting to change mechanics that have always been there. To answer your question, it does not feel clunky to me it feels logical. If I slide, which is a crouch mechanic, I should have to 'restart' running again.
