So with Anthem undoubtedly filling the gap where Bungie has the current monopoly on this type of game will we see better content? Will Bungle actually have to do better than they are currently doing if they actually have some competition where others failed *cough* the division*cough*
SO far from my opinion the content basis showed in D2 is almost identical to D1. The similarity here is almost absurd.
A few strikes, a few PvP maps, a SINGLE raid. And most likely a short campaign. An expansion pass already in play identical to D1 with content that's most likely on the disc again. C'mon bungie.
I haven't seen much even addressed, changed, or UPGRADED from D1.
We have a piss poor excuse as to why the weapon slots changed- just give us the primary burns ffs. THAT'S WHAT WE WANT. Enemy AI is still bland and for the most part just walk into your bullets. I'm sure the grindfest will still be largely the same.
They made a few improvements in D1 with exotics which I loved. But most of those quests were lack luster at best. Spending literal hours getting materials for the swords was an absolute chore for no reason. They need more defining moments. I want to pry the gun off the cold dead hands of the boss who wielded it. I want to kill Dredgon Yor and get thorn after some western shootout. Not grind my ass off for weapons I...for the most part never used.
Sleeper simulant was fun to obtain. no time to explain was lore filled, but the gun sucked. The adept raid weapons however were just a gimmick to make us waste more hours on this game and make it feel relevant till D2. But we should have had that content to play still beforehand.
Now raids. Raid are a blast to play. When they work and people work together. But when that's the only worth while content and they are so few and FAR between it gets stale quickly. We should have at least 2 at launch no question there.
Pv P. Seriously just drop it. I have nothing there other than it was crap from start to finish.
Now you're all going to say things about asking too much yada yada. But when the original had a 500 MILLION DOLLAR budget and they gave us almost nothing to do ... where did it go.
Micro transactions are ruining gaming. And if you but into it you're only encourging this bs
Story wise... can there be one finally? I read the grimmore and it's there.. But can I see it?
As a beta player who played everything, it's with a heavy heart that I say I wont be buying D2 day one. Until I see honest reviews from people I trust unlike I did for D1
Edit: on the budget - the 500m is for the franchise, but that's still half a billion dollars. And guess what guys! They hit 500million at launch in sales. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/destiny-revenue-hits-500-million-in-24hrs/1100-6422231/

Go play Anthem and come back and let us know how much it sucked. We all know youlll be buying D2. Your complaints are mere complaints. Nothing you proposed serves to make the game better for the community. Just your selfish Azz.

Hahahaha no. Losing 2 awards to Splatoon in 2015 didn't change a thing. I think splatoon got best shooter and best multiplayer. (it also beat CoD) After years of kicking and screaming for optional matchmaking for every activity on every difficulty. And an end to this "hybrid network model". Also, splitting weapon tuning so PvP doesn't mess with PvE anymore. Guess whaaaattttt. Still no optional matchmaking for everything. Still no client-server model. Still a unified sand box. Nothing is changing. In fact.... They have also opted to abandon the narrative we've been slogging through for years. Hope this release isn't a cluster -blam!-.

由Sage編輯: 6/19/2017 7:10:58 PMReads post-
Sleeper Simulant's quest was fun
Oh yes it was- it was fun until the WARSAT on Mars caused me to throw my Xbox one outside the window after 100000000000000000000 hours of waiting for a WARSAT to appear on Mars.

Come back in at least a year to have this conversation. Right now you're comparing a game that was heavily scripted and did not show a lot in the way of actual gameplay outside of the exploration. Then there is the one minor detail that you seem to be overlooking in that this was a 'reveal' at a E3 Press junket.. Of course they're going to show off an amazing game - why else would they be there? Let's not forget the number of E3 reveals / demos over the last few years that showed off this amazing game that every one went bat shit crazy over only to have a game that was not the same at launch. Yes - Destiny was one of those games.

You've seen like 5 seconds of the game we don't know enough yet to even think anything.
