There are people who are very developed yet have severe allergies, they live in sterile bubbles. They cannot survive in the outside world, by your logic we should kill them. But that doesn't affect me so go ahead. 🙃

My point still stands, for instance, if you were sleeping, you wouldn't be self-aware. Much like fetuses are. You know the old saying, If they can't feel it- 😜 Besides, you are basically saying that since it can't survive out of it's "bubble" it should be okay to kill.

My point applies to foetuses only. I'm not advocating for the murder of already born people. Whether the foetus is self-aware or can feel pain is irrelevant. It will die anyway.

What logical principle states that you're a human after a couple of months? You are still developing, should we by this logic kill toddlers?

Any definition of when life starts would be completely arbitrary, since we have no idea what life itself is. To me, the point when a foetus no longer is dependent on its mother, effectively as a parasite, can be considered a good start.
