If they'd hurry up with male birth control that doesn't involve wrapping my meat in desensitizing latex this wouldn't be an issue.

Well the only real ways of actually doing that are either surgery or chemical castration... And with that you'd have less testosterone, a lower sex drive and after a long enough usage irreversible infertility... Somehow I don't think guys would appreciate that... and maybe even some women that want a child...

Well the only time a woman cannot get pregnant (unless she suffers from particular illnesses or is unable to get pregnant for other reasons) is when she is already pregnant or has passed the point of menopause. At either point the reason why she doesn't get pregnant is because her body stops releasing eggs in order to get pregnant. And female birth control uses chemicals in order to somewhat trick her body into believing that she is already pregnant and so halts the release of any further eggs. Preventing any pregnancy. A woman isn't always fertile but a man is [i]always[/i] fertile (provided he hasn't suffered any particular damage or is Infertile for other reasons in the first place) But yeah it's at the least a great idea that if there's a pill for a woman to not get pregnant then there really should be the same for the man. It makes more sense to take the bullets out the gun than to fire at a bullet proof vest...
