through Craigslist and wouldn't you know as soon as I've got the cash in my pocket and the title handed over the car won't start. Luckily it was just the battery that needed a little charge, but it left me in an awkward position for a few minutes as I'm trying to get the car to start again.
Have you ever had any mishaps or interesting interactions with people trying to buy or sell things through Craigslist or another similar website?

Now that I have some extra cash I'm debating getting a new PC or some kind of firearm, any suggestions on either?

Don't get a new PC, just get some new parts for your old one. Cheaper if you know what you're doing and it isn't even that hard

由Pheint3d編輯: 6/11/2017 7:31:05 AMI sold someone a tool box who tried to low ball me. He insisted lowering the price, and I lied and said another buyer said he can come in 30 minutes but will pay more. So this dude ends up coming through to pick it up. He paid more than its worth, and even bought misc. Tools I didn't need. After handing the money over to me, I helped him pack it all in his car as he kept going on and on about how it's all worth way less. (Mind you, he really tried to lowball me bad at first, and basically said he's done that to people repeatedly. He consequently told me he buys stuff and resells without noticing he had even done so. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Nothing wrong with that, but leading with a major lowball and then saying that just seemed in poor taste.) So he's all packed up, we shake hands, and he turns his car on ready to take off. I said oh hey, btw....there never was a second buyer. I gave a bigass coolaid smile, said enjoy the rest of your weekend. The dude was speechless, and he didn't drive off for at least 5 minutes.

There was one time selling a car something of note happened. My Cutlass wasn't actually for sale, but anything can be had for a price. One afternoon a guy knocked on my door wanting to look the car over. Whatever, I was bored, so sure...I show him around. Then he starts talking like he knows the car better than I do. Colour codes, Engine codes, VIN...I know the game...he wanted to heckle for a low price. He was rather argumentative about the matter and seemed insulted every time I held my ground on price. The final straw was when he told me it couldn't be original engine. Yeah...it was a numbers matching 350 rocket, 4bbl, turbo 350 car. So I kicked him off my property. Hey man...you knocked on my door. Bring cash to show if you want to negotiate. Don't be hostile, either. No car for you!

What was your car? I don't ever plan on selling my firs car. It's got too much money in it and too many memories.

Happened like that with a Dodge Strattus I used to own. Alternator was going out so the car would try to die while driving. Even with that info presented, the car was bought within the hour.
