Do you guys know what would happen if our sun exploded? C'mon people. Let's not go off the deep end with speculation.

When a star explodes it expands, contracts, than explodes. To put it in perspective when the sun dies it will most likely expand to the point of Jupiter or Saturn. Than it contracts. Than it explodes and takes everything else with it. And our sun is a medium to small size Star. Stars that's explosions only kill say Venus and mercury would have to be minuscule. Also that would imply that it is in the exact same spot as the sun. If it was else where than it would probably destroy one of the locations we can go to. Either a moon of Jupiter (Io), a moon of Saturn (Titan), whatever nessus is (I forgot), or earth. The chance they miss any of those is extremely small.

Listen I know all of this stuff. I know that a planetoid would not have enough mass or energy to create a star. I know that our sun will probably create a pulsar when it goes supernova and a star, even a little smaller star going supernova will probably destroy a good portion of the solar system, including Earth which we will be able to explore after the campaign ends. I know that Nessus is way to far away from Sol for it to appear as large as it does in [url=http://imgur.com/DPmieEg]this image[/url]. And I know an explosion large enough to destroy a planetoid will probably destroy a lot of other stuff. This is all crazy. Makes no sense. Yet [url=http://imgur.com/DPmieEg]here it is[/url], an image of two stars from Nessus. The best I can say is space magic. I'm sorry but this is me trying to explain something that makes no sense.
