The sun could be used as a power source or a weapon. This is tier three wave of Technology improvement.

But that would almost certainly cause total disarray of the solar system and very likely destroy the Traveler.

Not if they can control it. If they are this advanced. They could used controlled blasts of the sun. Enough to not deatroy the planet and the traveler. I just came up with an insane theory. What if they were trying to make their owne traveler?

Maybe, but I can't help but feel skeptical. But as for them trying to make another traveler, I suppose that's possible.
