Okay, so...I just feel the need to vent right now. Had a stressful day and this issue is the one that's pushing me over the edge.
The new infections have effectively killed all viability cloaking had (they even highlight the place your enemy has to shoot). I've made a post pointing this out, and I've also seen another about the same issue.
Both posts have people that are actually supportive of cloaking getting destroyed, and keep telling people to "get kills the proper way" or some ****. I'm sorry, but what? I wasn't aware there was a "proper" way to get kills.
Point and shoot? Is that all this game is to these people? Point and mash trigger until enemy dies? I'm willing to bet these are the same people who complain when people slide, blink, and dodge roll. It's also people like this that, once they see someone doing something new, they can't be bothered to find a counter and just scream "nerf!"
To those people, I say this:
"Listen, idiots, there are a multitude of ways to kill people in this game, most of which were intended to be viable by Bungie, otherwise they wouldn't have been implemented to begin with. You don't decide what the "proper" way to kill people is, and criticising others for trying something you didn't is only making you look stupid."
Invisibility was included on purpose by Bungie, thus it is intended to be a viable tactic. These infections, although likely temporary, have butchered it. We are perfectly justified in pointing things out like this so that Bungie can either fix the problem or prevent it from happening again the next time something like this rolls around.
These people telling us that we have no choice but to make permanent changes to the way we play the game is uncalled for and rude.
So, to the people that have irrational and unjustified hatred of certain mechanics and choose to criticise others for using said mechanics: Screw off, nobody wants you here.

由 鬼 NepH編輯: 9/19/2016 3:34:34 AMHey man look at it this way, invis is basically saying shoot me to an experienced hunter who knows what it looks like anyway. If you're using stalker to get kills in pvp it's going to be extremely ineffective. Now if you're talking arc blade and vanish you never what to run out into the open. Anyone who has played hunter and gotten used to what an invisible hunter looks like against the environment will spot you almost by reflex as if you stand out more than you would if you weren't invisible. What you want to do is use invis for radar manipulation. Use it to bait people in a direction or to push on people who are waiting for something to happen, from around cover. Slide through normal sized doorways, jump or slide through high doorways. Always expect that the person sees you, invis basically in this meta should only be used to survey the environment undetected before choosing your route for engagement. Titans and Warlock mains generally will have an issue with us hunters from the jump and because of the kinda sleezy way people play using invis to just chase people with invective or another shotgun will irritate any player. Still don't feel bad about your play style, learn to adapt it around things. I suggest watching the streamer WTFisPoshy I've been able to learn a lot about the capabilites of blade dancer from him. But yeah all in all, invis doesn't really hide you from anything it makes you stand out if you're in open space, so the mites won't hurt that much. What you do want to get good at is watching for opportunities to wipe a team or a few players that may be a bit too close to each other and looking in the wrong direction. Good luck out there guardian the solution is never impossible to come across you just have to find it.
