Ok i wanna point out the political compass is bs. A libertarian left doesnt exist because welfare is authoritarian and an authoritarian right doesnt exist iether because tey would be hypocritical themselves.
Further right you are the more you believe in freedom further left more authoritarian you are
What? This makes zero sense and goes against what literally everyone else says
Since when does majority opinion matter? Think about it libertarians are anti authoritarian, welfare is authoritarian by nature, so a left wing libertarian is a total hypocracy then authoritarian right doesnt make sense because at least in american politics, is supposed to be for small government so another hypocracy

Also...quite a few liberal people believe in freedom, I don't understand that. What about all the conservatives that were super triggered by Kaepernick and wanted for it to be a requirement to stand during the anthem? That doesn't sound like it supports free speech or the right to choose for me.
Actually the word libertarian was created by and for anarchist socialists, similar to how the word liberal originally referred to modern libertarians, rather than social democrats.
Libertarian is derived from milton friedman, the party is split between anarchists and milton friedman types. They are by classical definition liberals
Joseph Déjacque was the first to use the word libertarianism to describe his socialist anti-state views hundreds of years before.
And i never heard of him and his definition no longer applies like the original meaning of liberalism
-
"What you've heard of" doesn't determine what is fact. Libertarian socialism is very much still around. I disagree with their ideology, but that doesn't make the history incorrect.
I didnt say you were wrong, i just said i never heard of him and his ideoloy seems confused. Anarchy and socialism dont mix or am i misreading what you said?

It's not welfarism aka social democracy. The main difference between libertarian socialists and libertarian capitalists is that libertarian socialists have ownership based on use and occupancy rather than development and trade.
Further right you are the more you believe in freedom further left more authoritarian you are
Umm...aren't conservatives anti-worker rights and pro company rights? Or does freedom just apply to some people?

Further right you are the more you believe in freedom further left more authoritarian you are
Umm...aren't conservatives anti-worker rights and pro company rights? Or does freedom just apply to some people?
Nice fallacy the company wether its owned by one person several or many is not the property of the workers. They dont like their pay then leave to suggest oyherwise is authoritarian

But if that rule applies to all companies, can't corporations continue to drive the wages down, because they know the workers have no better options? If company A pays 10$ an hour and company B pays 5$ per hour, what stops company A from lowering their wage 5$? It saves them money and the workers have no better options for places to work, because they all pay the same lower price, and this system just continues.

Ever hear of competition and supply and demand? Companies compete for good employees so good ones get better wages and lower wages causes prices to drop making stuff cheaper to purchase. Learn the free market my friend because its a joke that we even have a min wage
