Ah, I see. That is where our misunderstanding was. Let's try that again. The citizens who overthrew the Roman Republic had the right idea but went about it the wrong way. I'm not sure why this is even relevant to not being a Democrat, so before we really delve in to this likely lengthy debate, why don't you explain the relevancy to me?

Conservatives oppose govt regulation hence gay marriege and weed. The more you let the evile corrupt hand of the benevolent politician into your life the closer you get to a dictatorship. And communism. Which is how you get 50 million dead for the good of the people. Do you want 50 million dead for the good of the people?

Pretty backwards thinking if you ask me. If they really didn't care about gay rights, they should mind their own business and let gay people get married.

Well first you have to see marriage as a right. Marriage is an institution that for the longest time was mostly seperate from the state. Marriage and love are two seperate things. Of course marriage is mostly a religious thing and if you're gay I don't suspect that you're particularly religious. Of course the underlying theme of gay marriage is to spite Christians which is very odd. I mean if we've established this institution for Christians and Jews ect then what use if it would a gay have but to spite. But to shit on it. Which was the point. Of gay marriage. Marriage as an institution. Not a right. Because it isn't. And conservatives would rather the govt have no say because gay marriage opens up the door to whole to perversions of marriage all to spite Christians which are conservatives which are anti govt.
