Early in my quest for N64 games, I'm playing my first Zelda game. It's so great it reminds me of how astonished I was playing KotOR for the first time a decade after its release. Apparently great games don't age.
But my, how did people beat games like Zelda without Google? Some shit you can only figure out by chance apparently unless you're reading a guide.

In the original, you did stuff like reading the instruction book, paying attention to npc text, and talking with friends who shared their own discoveries. Kinda like playing Dark Souls today, minus the instruction book because they don't help much anymore.

由a clumsy scrub編輯: 2/16/2016 12:40:53 AMI couldnt beat the water temple. I could do everything else, but not that stupid water temple. I had probably 25+ saves throughout my life, and only beat the water temple myself ONE TIME. Every other time, I had a friend do it for me, or I used google. Such an amazing game. I actually kind of regret using google. When Im 25 (~4 years) or so, I might bust out the old nintendo 64 and beat the game again without help.

There's just so much to The Legend of Zelda, I've played OoT like literally 25 times and i still find new stuff. Still can't believe some people says its for kids... like, did you even play majoras mask? Not a kids game. Haha
