I don't get halo fans.
They make fun of cod fans but jerk off to halo wars 2 when on multiple posts I heard that halo wars was one of the worst in the series.

Some idiots can't comprehend that Halo was originally planned to be a RTS. Halo Wars was the closest we've got to the original plan for Halo. Until Bungie got bankrupt for a financial mistake and Microsoft bought them and the rights to Halo.

3 回覆People hated Halo wars because they didn't have the brain cells to realise that Halo wars was a basic RTS and were shit at it. The common trend of gamers is if they're shit at a game they think the game is automatically bad and spread this opinion around trying to make it a fact. Halo wars was a great introduction to the RTS (Real time strategy) genre for console gamers and was great fun playing the multiplayer with friends and the campaign.

1 回覆This must be a b8 post but I'll bite. I can clearly see why you don't understand Halo fans. You're comparing two completely different gaming genres while simultaneously attempting to judge fans of an FPS genre. That argument will never hold water my friend. Halo Wars was a great [u]console[/u] RTS game with a wonderful story that still bleeds into the most up-to-date lore. To compare it to all the other Halo titles is foolish in and of itself. But to tack COD onto the end of it and then accuse hypocrisy is an entirely different can of worms. In short... Wut?

Halo Wars was the most... unappreciated of the series. It wasn't as "traditional" as the rest of the games. It's like if a new CoD game came out and it was a city simulator, albeit a good one. I for one loved Halo Wars.

You'd have to really go back and watch videos of old school Halo. The hype that surround Halo CE and the lines at gaming conventions for Halo 2, finishing the fight in Halo 3. Halo just was spectacular back in those years. Up until recently really. I can't even really call myself a halo fan anymore because I hated Halo 4 and I think Halo 5 is bad(Played the MP beta). It's nothing more than CoD with power armor to me. There is no compelling story and groundbreaking soundtrack anymore. Hell I didn't even care when Cortana "Died" at the end of Halo 4, the whole story was so predictable.

1 回覆Halo Wars wasn't one of the worst in the series. In fact it's unfair to compare it to the rest of the series; it's a strategy game, and a good console one at that.
