So I was watching the Destiny Taken King ViDoc and I saw a progress bar on the bottom of the screen. It was confusing to me at first, because it had a light level meter on it, instead of the normal levels. I thought for a second, and then thought what else could go with light, and I thought of motes of light. My theory is that, that meter shows your progress to your next mote of light. This doesn't make sense at first but I've worked it out and thought gaining the normal extra experience levels to get to either 30 or 40 depending on your level now, would depend on motes of light. You would be able to see the progress toward your next mote of light, and you would gain these motes of light to use for experience. They would have to be special motes of light so you wouldn't be able to use previous motes of light that you have earned. Also, this would be the only way to level up, and you can't get the experience from just killing things and participating in the crucible. I hope this makes sense to you people and feedback helps us in the community to figure out more about The Taken King.
