It's been three days, and most of us have got over our initial reaction.
I personally still favor Bungie.old, but with some changes Bunge.next could be just as good, if not better in my opinion. I have hope that things will get better and from here on out the forums will only improve. What do you guys think?

The new site is growing on me. There are still some bugs to be worked out, and a few minor tweaks I'd make here and there, but for the most part I like the new site better. Having my own personal mod controls is awesome.

This website has potential, and with the right improvements it can way outshine Bungie.old. IMO the vital improvements needed are restored private group options, thread comments readable in ascending and descending order, better post differentiation and website colour options.

1 回覆We just need to get rid of hashtags and go back to separated forums and introduce a Destiny forum. The style is okay, as long as we get the option to switch to a dark theme.

This new site definitely does look better, however the sort by stuff for topics needs to go, it fragments the user base off into other parts of the site when there could be some more consolidation. Posting is way better and with some nice features such as embedding. The only thing that really irks me is comments. I think the way they are handled (Being sorted from recent first, having endlessly loading pages and being able to comment on comments) makes this less of a forum. Those features belong on Reddit or Twitter. Not a forum and especially not Bnet, given that most people here right now don't really agree with that stuff. So i'd give it a 7/10. But it is in Beta, so I'm still giving it a shot.

2 回覆Old was damn near perfect. Few minor tweaks left and right and it was done.. but nope. Bungie had to go full Reach with their website.

1 回覆They both have positives and negatives. I prefer the separated forums in the old design, and I like almost everything else in the one. Hopefully we can get the best of both worlds soon.

You didn't really have to understand a whole lot to post in the last Bungie.net form. In this one, there's a -blam!-ing learning curve. Most things now don't really have any logical reasoning behind their creation. Lots of long-sought features have been added on the other hand.
-
Both are good, but for very different reasons. Inevitable I hated it when I first used it, but I am now coming to terms with it and getting used to the change, starting to like it a bit more, plus I finally got to change my name.
