What are your thoughts on usa sending troops over to fight ISIS?
-
Let middle eastern stable governments / UN forces deal with it. Unless we're going to take them over and declare them a territory.
-
Get the armies of the countries they inhabit to fight them. Or launch a shock and awe campaign of overblown response to deal with them quickly to use them as an example showing other insurgencies how insignificant they actually are compared to military force and they actually only exist as much as the United States World Police allows them to.

Well considering the USA Trained and funded ISIS and then turned them loose I'm having a big laugh at people who are like WE NEEDZ TO STAHP DEM TURRISTS FUR FREEDOMZZZ USA USA USA
-
I like the current strategy of bombing the absolute shit out of them We just need more bombs and less discretion

由PureBeast72編輯: 2/23/2015 2:43:39 PMISIS can't handle a plastic gun's recoil Edit: Oh and USA are assholes, if they tend to attack ISIS they will hurt more innocent people "by mistake".

Hmmm. Well if the -blam!-ing senate keeps cutting the military budget I say no. The military is getting stretched too thin.
-
Not as an occupying force, no. More troops do need to be sent for a wider advising role, as well as a larger supportive role. We desperately need to send Joint terminal attack controllers (JTAC's) to be embedded with Iraqi Security Forces (ISF). One reason why there are so few airstrikes in Iraq is because of a lack of current intelligence on targets. JTACs would cut down on that. More offensive Special Operations Forces need to be sent too in order to conduct more offensive operations against IS leadership or other HVT's. But as an analyst, I (and DB5 for that matter) can tell you that no progress will be made unless the ISF can actually retake and hold onto retaken ground. This is the real test.

USA will get rekt, and going there will not solve any problems. I don't wanna see young men and women dying for nothing, hopefully the US doesn't send troops.
-
Bad idea. In fact very stupid idea. But we need to take better care at unifying the groups to fight against them instead of playing the politics game. Either way ISIS needs to be dismantled and its leaders subjected to whatever laws of the legitimate government of Iraq.

由PuppyDuckMSB編輯: 3/25/2015 8:47:54 PMI think probably no but I am not sure, these guys are totally crazy (from our POV) and they scare the hell out of me! Normally I would say we shouldn't go to war unless we get literally invaded or heavily bombed or things like that. I guess I would take a wait and see approach and try to figure out how big a threat they pose. I don't think it's our job to beat the bad guys everywhere or even to judge who is or isn't a bad person, to me it's just really about whether they are going to kill us. (Not whether they WANT to kill us but whether they actually will and this is what I'm not sure about in the case of ISIS). My judgment is clouded in this case by the whole slave market -blam!- thing, that is probably scarier to me even than the idea of someone bombing my town or something.

Personally I think military corporations will start to rise to profit off of "terrorist" groups. Think about this ISIS is trying to poke a bear and the bear won't budge. Eventually the bear will fight back and become involved into a potlitical war because it was in another country. What will happen is USA will contract mercenaries to wipe ISIS out from the top down. And thus creating a never ending cycle of war profiteering
-
Develop goat aids so they'll catch it with every goat they -blam!-. At expense of the goats of course
-
Sit back until ISIS screws with more countries then make an alliance with all countries they messed with and then slowly insert penis into ISIS.
