Wouldn't have been smarter if they just added another row to the weapon slot so you can just continue from what you already did? Seems like that would be the best thing for everyone

To easy! they made it to easy with the last patch. When you can buy the gun and now you can get materials from turning in marks. And now all you have to do is get one exotic shard to get the last row. If they just left it how it was it would take you longer.

It has nothing to do with the level of difficulty or challenge but simply the time it takes. There is 0 difficulty in upgrading the gun again from scratch it just takes longer and slows your progression rate. The want it to take you longer not for it to be more difficult

If they made there gun system better then you can make it longer to up grade. For example instead of doing what every other game has done with colored weapons. If you have a green color weapon you will never use or keep a white again and same goes with blue and purple once you find a weapon you like you will never keep a lower level gun that is dumb. If they made it where all weapons were always white and as you upgrade and unlock things for the weapon it would change color of rarity. That way you can see how much time people put in to there weapon. That way each weapon is unique. Then people wouldn't complain that one gun is "OP". And everyone would use a different weapon and not all use the same 10 to 15 guns. They can make the game much better. Instead of putting a Band-Aid on it and fixing it by bits and pieces. And when each expansion comes out all they would have to do is add another row to the weapon so called skill tree area. So weapons would get skill points as you use them and unlock a new row to level up and get perks. You would need to still use materials to upgrade the perk you want. --------------------------------- Gun chart --------------------------------- >White level (basic gun) skill tree has 3 rows of perks >Green level (unlocks at 1,000 kills) skill tree gets a 4th row of perks >Blue level (unlocks at 2,500 kills ) skill tree gets a 5th row of perks >Purple level (unlocks at 5,000 kills) skill tree gets a 6th row of perks >Gold level (unlocks at 10,000 kills) skill tree gets a 7th row of perks Expansion 1 Gold level 2.0 (unlocks at 15,000 kills) skill tree gets a 8th row of perks Expansion 2 Gold level 3.0 (unlocks at 20,000 kills) skill tree gets a 9th row of perks. -------—------------------------------ This is how a game like this should be done. You want to become legend then you have to put in the time with the weapon you want to use and become legend in it. Not this same old garbage gun system like every other game out there. That is how you make a game last. Nobody should be able to buy a exotic gun you have to make a gun become exotic. But that is my view. Stay strong guardians
