It's more than that. There was plenty of time for people to talk about bugs and issues in the game within the Alpha and Beta, but this clearly didn't happen as these days a beta isn't so much looking for feedback and improvements but "hey look I can play this game I want earlier". The testers are just as much in fault for the state of the game as the company when people could have stepped up.
