Those things that would push the game from good to great
It is no secret that everybody in this community has that special something that they want to see in a game that would push the title from "yeah, this is good" to "these developers read my mind". For me, I would definitely like to see some good old newtonian physics in space and the ability to name your weapons.
How about you guys? What crazy (but still plausible) features want to be seen? Comment below, let me know!

I'm not really sure how well it would work out with a game with such a massive scale with mostly guns, but I would love to see melee weapons like swords that can be equipped. Even if they are only really useful as a secondary or last resort for up close. It would be cool to be able to challenge other guardians to sword duels, and maybe have an arena type game where you team up with a couple of other guardians and fight against guardians of another faction in a small arena with melee weapons.

1 回复I want us to be able to create MP maps with Grognok and I want us to be able to suggest game modes to devs. I want them to interact with the community and continually add popular user-created maps to regular playlists. I would love a predator and prey mode in a large forest. I also want dynamic MP maps. They want the game to have a lot of replay ability and I think this could give MP a lot of replay ability. + expansive worlds that allow new experiences and new places to explore each time you log on.

Also, 60 fps. In order to have a truly smooth immersive game, 60fps is very helpful. I imagine it to be 30fps, since the graphics and scale of the game is huge, but if it was 60fps, this game would be a lot better. Especially if they want to do competitive framerate-lag free PvP

Stumbling across a npc war effort that triggers an invasion event that threatens to overwhelm the Guardians capital on Earth. And the objective is to call in the calvary and cripple the war effort before it can get off the ground.

A fully fleshed out history that is discovered while playing (if your paying attention). Aspects of the game that take time and effort to master. Complexity in the "world". A major turn off for me is when a game treats you as though you have the reasoning ability of a cookie. I like to discover the world, the history of that world and its inhabitants and see how these things have had an effect on each other to get us where we are. I also generally like game mechanics that are easy enough to get started in but take some time to fully learn and master.

1 回复Great attention to detail, such as explosions . Example... Acetylene tank( like what you would see paired with an oxygen tank for a torch),most games would allow you to shoot something like this and it just disappears after a pretty small explosion doing nearly no damage to the surrounding area or anyone walking by. I know for a fact that an acetylene tank does not explode like this. I was at work one night and 30 minutes into my shift ( at a steel mill ) an overhead crane was trying to set a ladle full of molten metal onto a tilter( tilts the ladle forward to pour metal into a casting nest) and as he set the pot down it fell backward in to a block wall. The ladle busted a hole in the wall and dumped some molten metal in the room before the crane operator got his hooks back on it. The metal that got in the room flowed till it hit an acetylene tank, rupturing the bottom of it cause a super heated explosion blowing out several block walls and it also sent the tank torpedoing up, hitting a piece of 1 1/2 inch thick plate steel ( that was covering a hole to the second floor ) knocking it up into the air about 4 feet. Realistic explosions please,,,....

You might want to put a tag on this otherwise it will die fast. I assume your talking about destiny, in which case newtonian physics would be good and skilled players would be rewarded-although there may be a steep learning curve.
