Mark Nutt thinks us humans are like pack animals and we crave a hierarchy. Any job that requires no qualifications or experience and can be taken by anyone could indicate that you are at the bottom of the social ladder, and if you are an older person it could be seen that you haven't achieved anything to warrant a job requiring skills or experience.
A job is a job and if it gets you money that you like then that's great!
I think people think its demeaning or that their too good to be working there.
I think its attitude like that, that makes people remain unemployed.
I dont understand whats so bad about working there.... its work after all.

1 回复Well for one, the Job Security isn't great. It's only a matter of time till they perfect the Fast Food Robot and then the human labor for that industry will tank like crazy.

4 回复It is a good place to learn basic employment skills and rule structure. It is not a place I would ever desire to make into a career, unless you are on the executive business of things. My first job working away from the family trucking company was at a McDonalds. It wasn't bad. I just learned then that I never wanted to eat a Big Mac ever again.

There's nothing wrong with working there. I'd prefer more people had jobs in fast food than just doing nothing with their life because they don't want to work at a place like McDonalds. It does, however, annoy me when people talk about their job at McDonalds like it's a seriously complicated and physically tasking job.

由Banned Man 3000编辑: 3/16/2013 7:06:39 PMA) Minimum wage job B) You need absolutely no skills to be hired there, and given the large amount of people who apply, they're going to hire the lowest of the low, because they have the least chance of moving up in teh world, and therefore are very unlikely to quit.
