I’m on Xbox so can’t help unfortunately, but finding events should be just as easy to do solo. If you hang out in the areas they occur, they’ll show up eventually.
If you want help to complete them, another option is to ask people in the tower to join you. This forum is pretty dead.

I got the trophy eventually, some of them took the biscuit to show up. I found going to the areas where it had a single target to take out was easiest for me doing it solo. Now just need this hard mode raid trophy and crucible rank 1 trophy! I’ve got the bounties ready to go, just need someone to do it with.
