Multiple items you have equipped are part of the Bushido set. You cannot apply an ornament to an armor set matching the ornament you’re equipping. So in this case, your bushido bond can’t have the bushido bond ornament activated on it.

For whatever reason, there’s no real method to how they sort armor in the armor customization screen. It’s a bit of a scavenger hunt to find the pieces. They’re there though.
