Is it wrong to tip attractive people extra?
I got my hair trimmed today, and as I sat there having my hair styled by a Taylor Swift stunt double, I realized I was already subconsciously thinking about tipping her $15 instead of the usual $10. (haircut itself is simple, only $14.95)
So I acted on my feelings and gave her $5 more than I normally would, the haircut was no better or worse than any other I had gotten at the place.
I mean, I don't think I did anything evil, but I want to hear what you lot think. Currently I know I would do it again.

2 回复Giving a girl a tip because you think she's hot, isn't gonna make the chance of you sleeping with her any higher. I tip based on service, if you provided me awesome service then I will tip you. If you did nothing but talk with your co workers & not attend me then no. When I was a waitress I didn't demand that people tip me, that's just stupid. I did my job & if the customer wanted to tip me great. Plus tips are split up evenly between those that worked that day, just in case you didn't know.

As long as you're not like those awkward middle aged white guys at Twin Peaks or similar establishments who tips extra as an attempt to get into their pants or make them feel like they owe them company or something, then there is nothing wrong with it. You're just tipping extra to someone who's aesthetically pleasing to you. Nobody is hurt in this process. Everyone wins.

2 回复Wrong isn't the word i'd use to describe it. "Improper" if anything, but only because the percentage of a tip should be based only on how efficiently the given task was performed. If you had tipped her extra based on that, i'd have considered it "proper". Basing a tip off of anything else such as physical appearance, i'd consider "improper". But that's just what I go by.

2 回复Well what if you got your haircut by that attractive person every time and tipped her but then an ugly person cut it and you tipped her less? Then it would be wrong to tip an ugly person less... Right?
