Hi, a friend of a friend of mine recently passed away and we’ve been trying to spread this letter from him; please help us get this message through to the devs, it would be much appreciated.
Dear Bungie devs, I’m writing you this letter as a very loyal player of yours, and even with a lot of ups and downs, I have been a huge fan of your saga. Thanks to Destiny I got to know my current friend group, whom I play with, a group I’ve also created a connection with outside the game and goes way beyond just being friends. We’ve made a family and, throughout the years, some got married, some got degrees and others are even parents now, but the only thing that’s not changed is our friendship; may Vault of Glass be consolidated for the magnificent time! I will be forever grateful for your work, for setting some of the most fun and beautiful moments of my life! One week ago, however, one of us passed away, struck down by an illness that has been with him ever since I’ve gotten to know him. He adored Destiny, though he wasn’t always able to play due to the illness, and he always wanted to know, to the very end, how the last battle against the Witness would have ended. None of us wanted to tell him or spoil him the ending, thinking he’d be able to witness it himself. Unfortunately this will not happen. I thank you from our friend group, for all the little moments of joy you made him feel even while cancer gave him no respite.
If you could give him a small greeting we all would immensely appreciate it.
His name on Playstation was lorenzomacaluso9
A PROUD WARLOCK!
Here are some things about him, his name was Lorenzo, he was 25 years old, sunshot was his favorite weapon and on Destiny he only used pink shaders 🤣
