When Destiny was released it was a lot more fun than this. Making complicated multi-player mazes and the stupid trial crap isn’t fun. How about caring about your solo player base too. I love the controls and action in this game. Make the rest of it fun too.

6 RepliesThe aregument that "Destiny is strictly for Co-Op/team-base gamers" shows how lost some people are who try to push this false narrative. It's not a strictly co-op/team-based game, and it never will be. All the campaigns are designed to be done solo. All the lost sectors were designed to be done solo. Certain triumphs are specifically designed to be done solo. Bounties since 2014 are designed to be done solo. All the public events since 2014 on every planet were designed to be done solo. A lot of quests since 2014 were designed to be done solo Farming class items are designed to be done solo There is a lot more to add but when people say things like... "Why would they cater to solo gamers?" "Destiny is an MMO" "Go play a single-play game if you want more things to be accessible for solo gamers" It just shows how lost some of you are especially knowing a portion of the game is designed for solo gamers. The game was originally designed to attract both solo and team-based gamers since 2014. It's only recently the difficulty has increased and some of you are trying to use that to push your false narrative on others. Destiny was designed for both. Nowhere on the cover of the disk I bought shows that it's strictly for Co-Op/team-based games. Not a damn word about it, not even from this developed ever in any TWAB/TWID, Ever!

You do realize when Destiny first launched, the only endgame activity we had was VoG. A Raid. Exclusively for six people. It even scared people away because the first clear took 14 hours and nobody wanted to invest their time into something that long. And don't even get me started on 'Forever 29'. Destiny at launch was completely different than what we're going through now. It's debatable which is better.

1 ReplyI don't actually believe you think Vanilla D1 or vanilla D2 was more fun.

9 RepliesThis isn’t a solo game, for the last time. Their targeted audience is heavily online-based players who play in groups. That being the case, why would they cater to solo players? That’s like a single-player indie game catering to online players. If you want a good solo game, play a solo game. Other than that, I agree with the rest of your statement, though.
