What is a song that finally made you accept about something

This is honestly similar to another forum I made the other day but the acceptance can be anything really something good something bad For me it was probably when I listened to mother I sober by Kendrick Lamar and sorry not sorry by Tyler the creator Helped me accept about a friendzone I experienced back in April of 2024 we still talk but mother I sober and sorry not sorry helped me out

  • "We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again A change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again, no, no I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half-alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky For I know that the hypnotized never lie Do you? Yeah There's nothing in the street Looks any different to me And the slogans are effaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Is now parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again, no, no Yeah Meet the new boss Same as the old boss"

I only ever really listen to music if it’s blaring from speakers in a public setting, so there’s nothing for me to say.

    • Big one is Lover's Cross by Jim Croce. Helped me realize that I was led on and manipulated once, and that things were never built to last like that.

    • Shoulder to shoulder, or We are soldiers, its an Army song. Here's a good line: "Its time to strap our boots on, this is the perfect day to die, wipe the blood out of our eyes. In this life there's no surrender, there's nothing left for us to do, find the strength to see this through." Helped me accept who I became. Hammerhead by The Offspring. "Bang bang it hammers in my head, bang bang it hammers in my head, in my head in my head..." Helps me accept loss. This means War by Avenged Sevenfold. No explanation but I like the sentiment. Family and friend deaths has messed with my head...

I have a whole playlist of songs that help me cope when I’m hopelessly anxious. So, I guess that Accepting that I feel that way pretty frequently is hard, but I’m getting there

      • Don’t Throw Out My Legos by AJR It was one of the first songs that made me realize I wanted to be an animator.
