HARD 75 CHALLENGE !!

I’ve been overweight all my life. Never have I ever been in a healthy state — and that means physically but also mentally. I started the hard 75 challenge the start of this month and have been walking everyday in the morning and fixing my diet and working on my mental health. It’s been really nice. Any tips and advice for health mentally and physically would be nice! or even just a little motivation (:

  • Mentally, think of it like building a house. Your foundation is set already, as it consists of all of the reasons you want to be healthy physically and mentally (i.e. family, friends, faith, career, etc.). Next you have to lay the layers of discipline and structure, but they have to be laid on the foundation of they'll fall at no resistance. After all is said and done, you can furnish and decorate, make it lived in you know, by using your newfound health and skills to improve your life. For workouts, just get adjustable dumbbells for your home. You should be fine with 20 lb max. Frasier Wilson has some good workout routines on YouTube for beginners and experts, so do those with the appropriate amount of weight for db training. I'd recommend running at least every other day, as it will increase your lifespan and make you overall less tired. If you want me to give you specific running workouts I can, but to start just run at least 3 miles.
