Hi Cosmo -- Sorry to hear about the network troubles. I would highly suggest checking out our [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11931]NAT Guide[/url] in an attempt to get your NAT to Open (Type 1).

Ok seriously I've tried many things to try to fix this stupid issue that i just got VERY recently, sometime after you guys started your maintenance I've had so many problems. I check my console nat type before i load up the game, i log in and that annoying little notification at the bottom appears, and thanks to it i can't talk to any of my friends except LITERALLY two other people. When I'm in a fire team with six people, I'll be lucky to hear THREE of the others. I know for sure that this isn't my home wifi's fault. I changed internet providers a while ago, somewhere between 2-4 months from now and i haven't gotten that problem until now. I know you guys don't intentionally mean harm, but i seriously can't play the game like this. Almost all of this game's competitive aspects require communication, which is great, but is pointless if you guys can't get these connection issues down. Please don't just ignore this because this isn't the first time the servers just decides to give up and kick me out. Thanks to these servers I've actually become notorious for disconnecting a lot. This game is great but the servers are terrible. And don't even bother replying with that link i see you put everywhere else on these topics on forums because I've tried them too, and ABSOLUTELY nothing changed at all.

With this new Nat 3 issue I cant join up with another PS4 on the same network in the same household.

I actually just had this happen to me for the first time this morning. PS4 says I'm NAT Type 2 (as I've always been despite my best efforts), however after I load up destiny and press "X" to start, a message stating that I may have issues with the game because I've got NAT Type 3 going on. I tossed my PS4 into the DMZ (which I'd rather not do if it can be avoided) and the message hasn't come up again, however it still claims that I'm NAT 2. How is that possible? I'm using a modem/router combo - Motorola Surfboard. I've tried all the port forwarding and every solution under the sun but have never been able to get that NAT to Type 1.

I put my ps4 in the dmz and now destiny says im nat 3, even tho psn says im nat 2. U arent they only 1 with this issue.. The weird part is that its not every time i log in. The nat 3 message only appears sometimes. I dont get it
