Because a majority of this game is an insanely repetitive grind fest without enough variety to keep it somewhat fresh. It's a chore after the 20th time, and the raid wasn't that good or fun to begin with

Raids are the best content in the game. Fact.

I enjoyed VOG, now that the weapons are upgraded I'll be running the crap out of it. CE just lacks so much, from mechanics, to fun boss fights. There's really only one boss fight with a miniboss and 2 gauntlet sections creating the rest of the raid.

The raid is the best PVE content the game has to offer. So if u just cheat your way through for loot. Wtf do u do the rest of your time again?

I play crucible, and I did a lot of my first runs legitimately. CE doesn't have much in the way of mechanics. Run through here without dying, kill this guy to get there then kill him again, run through here without dying, kill this guy fast. Kill this guy, damage this guy then sword him and don't die. That sums up the raid.

That sums up the raid.[/quote] But with cruc. Not counting the iron banner. Gear means nothing. And again. The raid is [i]the best[/i] destiny has to offer for pve.

Which is sad. Speaking purely objectively, VOG has more going on In just the Templar fight than all of CE. Not to mention gorgons, jump puzzle, aetheon etc

Doesn't change the fact that doing the raid 3 times a week ( at minimum ) gets very repetitive and boring as well.

I can see what you mean. But do you save much time by cheesing as opposed to doing it legit? Crota end start to finish is 30 min on average. I would like to see these mechanics in strikes. And the raids to be harder and longer. But again. These are [i]still[/i] the most fun out of any activity in the game.
