Urzok the hated buffed??

I killed this guy with hardly any problems with all 3 classes a while ago. Helping my gf with this quest tonight he just will not die, about 5 tries so far. At one point there are about 6 or so lvl 26+ attacking him (a few including myself using arc weapons) and his shield never even dropped below 1/4 before he despawned. Did he get a mysterious buff or wtf is going on? edit: finally got him after a few more tries, finished it on a public event that went much smoother than the previous one. But still he seems to be much more of a pain in the ass than when I did it before

    • Defend the Warsat version of him is easy compared to the "enemies are moving against each other" event. His shield is beastly when that version of him spawns.

    • I use Thunderlord or Gjallarhorn. Both seem to work wonders

Got through using both Thunderlord and Murmur set to arc. Finished him off with some Badger CCL and my super. Was annoying as heck though.

      • He's much easier to kill if he spawns during a public event. If you get the random encounter version he's a complete tank. I had 3 other people firing arc damage at him and we only took him down because I managed to get a sword off a Sword Bearer that spawned.

        • Yea experienced this during one of my public events with a few randoms. His shields didn't go down even with 4 gjally rounds from me, and the other randoms were firing at him as well. Maybe its something like randall the vandal where urzok occasionally spawns with insane health/shields.

        • Public event one is a lot easier while the one with hive and fallen fighting is the harder one. All the elites with crazy HP bars come out when the fallen and hive settle their business.

          • Apparently there are two... one with the public event and the other one. One is a pain in the butt the other is easier to kill... you may already know this...and maybe someone can shed a bit more light on this than i can. I finally got him, needed a bit of help though...
