I have no idea what you hoped to get out of this post, other than to stroke your ego by insulting those of us who still play Destiny. Go play your other games, chum.

If I were you I would be offended by Bungie/Activision, they're the ones that scammed you.

I am! Yet I still enjoy the gameplay, as long as I don't expect much in the way of improvement from Bungie. Just saying that there's no need to insult the folks who still play. Just because I continue to play, doesn't mean I'm blind.

I never said anyone was blind. The game is addictive and turns people into crackheads, it's nothing to be offended about as it's pure science that's got you addicted. Destiny uses neuroscientific techniques to get you addicted to playing (basically it copies casinos) It causes people to become obsessed with getting that next gun from Xur (which only comes up once a week and has limited items, meaning you -have- to have the currency by the time he pops or you risk losing out on what you want for months). Or it makes you feel like if you play just 1 more pvp round you might get the legendary engram you want And then it releases DLC that forces you to purchase if you want to "keep up" for the week Halo on the other hand was all about the gameplay, not about shallow rank-ups People played Halo because it was legitimately fun to play halo, regardless of rewards So DLC for halo had to be equally fun to entice people to buy it Titanfall has a similar model at the moment Destiny is all about mindless addiction and grinding. It values raids over actual story or gameplay improvement. And puts a focus on items The way you can be sure I'm right is that when Destiny had the cave-of-loot exploit at the start of the game, 1000s of people spent 10 hours + shooting into a cave.... thats it... shoot into a cave for 10min, run in, run out, repeat. That isn't gameplay. That's addiction and whether you are going to be offended by that has nothing to do with me, I was just pointing out the obvious.

I play because I have fun playing. I get excited when I get a good piece of loot but that's certainly not what drives me to play this game. Maybe I'm in the minority, idk.

You'd be surprised how many people like crack too.
