If you make seperate reports for each error you get, bungie may try to contact you. There is a seperate thread created by bungie reps for each error code, if you use the search function you should be able to find them. There is a thread somewhere about opening your ports up, I had the same problem with Modern Warfare 2 but no other games. Turned out to be I was a) at the top end range of my wireless hub, so poor connectivity. b) other wireless signals from other sources were affecting signal and data being transmitted. c) I had a crap hub that had issues connecting more than 4 devices at any one time.

There's no need to search for possible threats like you did, because even a really good router placed NEXT TO your console (all port forwarded with UPnP disabled and/or with a DMZ zone set to the Console IP, provided with a strong connection) DOESN'T solve anything. It's embarrassing. Plus I'd recommend you to stop telling people it might be an issue on their end because it's not, and that for several reasons like: - Bungie HAS to give me a functional game with no error codes popping out 10 times in less than 20 minutes. If that's the case happening to millions of users, we call it a BROKEN game. - Bungie HAS to realize we're not all computer technician so we honestly shouldn't be doing any other things apart from forwarding ports and stuff (I personally think I shouldn't be setting my router to do noting more than giving me an open NAT). I just want to play a game I paid for, and sure enough I don't have to get a degree in computer engineering to overcome the huge mistakes they did in the game's programming process.

  • The game is pretty much broken, my speeds are fine, nothing in my network is limited (referring to beaver error), I have an open NAT. Nothing more I can do, I've got the second best internet package where I live, I should be able to play the game smoothly.

  • i've made several ones already and even mentioned on twitter. I have tried to forward ports and everything but they had no affect and when i asked the ISP to do so, they said they couldn't help. How did you overcome and fix your errors?

With MW2, I don't think I ever did. But since then I had more and more connectivity issues that started getting worse with the more and more wireless devices we bought, as well as the street now all having wireless networks. To start with I used a freeware program to see what other wireless networks were in the vacuity and see what channels they are using. It's called inSSider (free download from tech spot here), then I figured I needed a better hub to handle the increased amount of devices (went from BT home hub 2.0 to 4.0), that still didn't work so got a home network plug kit so I could use Ethernet cables to the wall sockets and then from another wall socket near the hub. If the hub is further than 15 feet or having to pass through 2 to 3 solid walls/floors then the wireless signal is worth looking at. Otherwise, if you do have a good strong connection then no idea. But even two floors up my PS4 states signal strength is 72% to 85%, but then promptly gets dropped after attempting to load up Destiny or any other heavy online induced game. So I have to plug it in. When I move it downstairs to ground floor I have no issues with wireless. I've also set up 4 of our devices on to the 5ghz wireless signal, again because when I researched into wireless tech, I found out that too many devices can interfere! Worth looking into, moving hub around may work, or plugging it in via Ethernet cable just to see if any difference!

  • Looks like the game server is at fault then :-( reminds me of Trying to play as a dragon born hero on ps3 only to hit frustrating glitches all the way. Hope this gets fixed soon!
