Incorrect. DLC plans were set in place upon contract signing before the pen touched the paper to make Destiny. The proof is in the contract all over the internet of course. As for the cinematic trailers, the ingame exclusive videos. (Before i get into all that actually) I would like to point out that Destinys majority player base are first person shooter gamers. They have not encountered games of this caliber for instance, and even act suprised when the game is not what trailers show. Okay as I was saying, the ingame exclusive videos, trailers, are made for one sole purpose. I didnt say it as you just saw because Im hoping you know. So if you buy into this conspiracy theory, like Deej said, you are being trolled. You should remember that reddit is a public forum, the same way anyone can edit wikipedia pages. To believe an interview over such a forum as reddit, is a great example of taking someones word... well because the internet said it was true! Anywho. Im not here to explain myself to sway your thinking. You like the others are already lost. I myself am not so easily fooled by hooligans at keyboard, instead I only use real sources. Such as contractual agreements, marketing procedures, trailer research (this is because I use to work at THQ, Calabasas, Ca. Malibu Hills RD. 91301 Specifically as a lower end Research & Developmental employee. Our basic job description was attending public events such as E3 (being the largest game unvailing) and survey trailer opinions. Touch up game forums after release, retrieve public informative opinions. (This means we use only opinions that seem well thought out and put together). From all data recieved as a game producing company, we learn how players respond to different aspects of trailer spoiler content. Nothing Bungie has done with Destiny marketing is ground breaking. None of it has not been seen before (for those who misunderstand). Im sorry for your conspiracy theory. It is one that lacks what all must have to be more than a theory. Credibility.

Lolwut? Most of it makes absolute sense. They hired some pretty big voice actors and then did -blam!-all with them. The story as-is is complete nonsense, so why would you not think that at some point there were plans for it to make sense? There are trailers and gameplay footage of story and maps that are just gone without a trace, from recently enough that it seems like a pretty big stretch to think that all of that stuff was just dropped in time to make an all new complete story.

I'm already skeptical about the Reddit post but that fact that Deej felt like he to respond to this gives it even more credibility. It's would be great to hear the real story but I guess we won't at least for a long long time. Maybe once destiny is old and forgotten.
