You're not allowed to roll ACU sleeves? Holy shit. That must be awful.
-
Wow. I just realized how privileged I am to get to roll up my sleeves. Since April they haven't been down once!
-
Well, being aviation and a weekend warrior, half of the time my top is off anyway, so don't feel too special. Dang canucks...
-
Oh yea we don't have to wear our tops either when we work! It's great. I've worn american ACU as well, the material in those uniforms is real heavy and thick. Our uniforms are so thin. It must be hell during hot days.
-
They're surprisingly breathable for how heavy they are. Doesn't do much for the humidity around here, but I imagine that there could be worse uniforms out there.
-
Ah it'll be hell with humidity no matter what you're wearing. Your uniforms fit really nice though. For the most part you guys look pretty sharp. All my uniforms are baggy as hell. I feel like a thug in them sometimes.
-
Seriously? You aren't allowed to roll up the sleeves on your Army ACUs? That's -blam-ing stupid!
-
They got rid of that when they got rid of BDU's.

Edited by HurtfulTurkey: 6/12/2014 9:53:58 PMTo make up for not being able to roll their sleeves, the Army just decided that they'll wear ACU anytime, anywhere.
Oh and don't forget your kevlar and plate carrier.
Lol my friend is a combat engineer and he talks about this all the freaking time.
