Sony pulls the PS Eye from being included with the PS4 shortly before E3 to cut down the price and make Microsoft look bad. Now they're figuring out a way to get all that money back by telling you that you MUST purchase not only the Eye but also the Move too if you want the VR headset? When are people going to see that $ony is just a company that wants your money, just like Microsoft? At least Microsoft doesn't deceive and trick you into having to spend more money down the road. Edit: And the Sony ponies are defeated. Some tried to say I was tin-foil hat crazy and just off my rocker, yet a simple google search and they'd find exactly what I was talking about. Morons. • Well the oculus rift also requires the purchase of a camera now they figured out its needed for head tracking it juts sold with the headset. And that's probably exactly what sony will do pack the camera in as a bundle item or sell the headset separate if you already purchased a camera. They didn't say move was required. This show was for developers and they were showing off the cameras ability to detect the move controller and the headset. Also showing off the DS4 controllers ability to track motion! saying the move wasn't necessary for motion because the DS4 has move built in! Lol only 1 of the 4 demos actually used the move.

Not trying anything? I'm expressing my view on the subject matter. You'd have to be a moron to think you can sway anyone's opinion on an Internet forum. That being said, Sony admitted to pulling the Eye hours being their E3 unveil in order to get to $400 and be the cheaper console. They spent quite a bit of money on the Eye to compete with the Kinect and since they pulled it, they're not getting any of that money back. Secondly, Microsoft, though not having the BEST ideas, was very open about what it wanted with its console. Aside from those who don't have good Internet and/or a conspiracy theorists who think the NSA is going to watch them instead of 7 billion other people, it was a reasonable step forward in innovation. Sorry to burst your bubble, but we live in an Internet age. Almost every electronic device you have is connected to it. Gaming will get to where Microsoft said it would go. That's just how things are progressing towards. Meanwhile, you have Sony who's been deceitful about its product. Focusing more on making the competition look bad instead of their product look good. (A sound business strategy but how many people knew the Eye was initially included with the PS4 and it was geared at around $500?) But look what Sony is doing now. Coming up with excuses as to why to buy two of their wrist selling devices. What the hell does the Eye or Move have with VR? NOTHING. Occulus has shown you don't need those things. But go ahead and be a Sony sheep. Go and follow the herd into the slaughterhouse. You're only ending up spending more than they told you that you had too. And now look…you have a camera watching you too Edit: To the Sony ponies who believe their angelic company to be incapable of sin, LMGTFY: http://bit.ly/1hBB88M

  • you appear to be trying quite hard. Look at your line of logic. Sony pulled something that most gamers don't care about just to make MS look bad? Woah....tinfoil hats?

LMGTFY. Sony admitted to doing just that during a post-event E3 interview. Not a tin-foil hat conspiracy if it isn't a conspiracy and is the truth instead. Edit: Also, if they pulled it ONLY because gamers didn't care about it, why are they making it mandatory to buy if you want the VR headset to work? Seems counterintuitive to me. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=szJYYZ0B7qg#
