This bigger question is why are Arabic people considered white. I think minority scholarships and stuff like that are bullshit, but one of my friends is 1/8th Mexican and got a minority scholarship, and one of my friends who is 100% pure blood Egyptian (her parents came here from there) couldn't get one because "Arabic people are considered white"

Interesting, I can get some small scholarships for being 1/16th Mohawk, and I'm also a resident of Canada if I register with my Metis tribe hehe. (and it's all such total bull because I'm the whitest thing on my block)
