I always hated WW2 shooters, theres no creativity with them when it comes to story. There isnt much creativity nowadays with modern shooters too but its still better than WW2.
Almost every WW2 shooter included Normandy beach at some point.
The fact that WW2 shooters always make levels based on actual wars is not fun or interesting imo. I already know the history, i know whats going to happen and how. I dont need a game to recreate it for me.

Story is not the primary motive of a historical shooter, it's experiencing something similar to what the troops who fought in the wars felt.
