We aren't done yet.
I'm waiting and fully expecting this cow to come forward with a lawsuit for a wrongful termination.
Dumb move from SendGrid as well. They fired her out of fear of the backlash. With a lawyer she could have a potentially strong wrongful termination case.

Its tough - she can't be fired for outing what she believed to be inappropriate behaviour (as indicated by the developer terminations), but then the reaction made her job untenable. Best thing would be to move her to a different department, as you really can't fire someone for doing what she did.....well, here at least
-
Alternatively, she is -- was -- in charge of developer relations with her company, and just managed to get two developers fired, which in turn pissed off a whole lot of other developers. How can she reasonably be expected to maintain good sales relationships when she has just angered her entire market segment? Due to the nature of her job, her actions rendered her incapable of performing her job well; anyone can see that pretty clearly. The company was thus justified in the move.
-
Yes, that would be the companies argument. Her argument would be about descrimination, women, blahblah and it would go to court and be a drawn out massive shit-fest for everyone involved.
-
I doubt it would even make it to trial; the company would move to dismiss early on, using the rationale I described. :-)
-
Oh it would make it to trial, cases like that happen all of the time. Hundreds a month.
