I don't see any legitimate benefits in becoming independent. I mean sure we have oil, but most of those who are for this just want Scotland to become independent for the sake of becoming independent. Here in Scotland we're a fairly nationalist society, and have taken a very much xenophobic anti English attitude. It's surprising that a slight majority don't want independence.

Well, once this referendum has past, there's no going back. You're stuck with England calling the shots forever. And probably will leave the European Union because of England soon, unless independence comes.
