Wasn't there a bug in Reach before release that made objects hit with the forklift fly?
Perhaps this is the secret to launching space shuttles in Destiny?

That was when they had the forks where they could move. They locked the forks in place to prevent it when the game released.

Reach had a drivable forklift....unless I'm misreading your post...

Yes, you can drive Forky in Reach. When they were testing him you could move the forks up and down too. But they found the glitch that launched stuff into space so they locked his forks. You can drive him, but you can't move his forks up and down. They got rid of two animals too, I think a squirrel and a porcupine, because they caused glitches.
