Except you're not getting the normal cell service, you're getting a premium service that ensures you stay connected to a network despite being out of range of cell towers. That's why you have to pay extra for it.

You're retarded. If you go off-network, the owner of the signal you are providing dings your provider for costs with providing you with that service. ATT or any other cell company doesn't own every cell phone tower in the world.
