Except OP states a timeframe longer than the gun has existed in D2 implying he includes his time beforehand.

My clanmates and i took a break from Destiny 1 around the time The Taken King came out. Came back for Rise of Iron and never came to doing that raid for whatever resson. One of my regrets because the gun looked cool.
