The introduction of the tier system was so poorly implemented, like usual. First of all there are to many tiers 1-5 is not needed at all. Especially when one of these tiers becomes the standard drop. For me it is 5, i will occasionally get 4. -------------------------------------------- 3 tiers would be much better. Tier 1 is your standard loot. No enhancements and just 1 row of perks. Tier 3 is dropped at Master Portal activities, Raids and Dungeons. Tier 3 will have both the Barrel and Magazine perks enhanced 2 rows of perks. Tier 5 will drop from Gm's, Master Dungeons, Epic raids and from the Flawless chest in Trials. Tier 5 will drop with all enhanced with 2 rows of perks. --------------------- This should make the higher tier content more desirable to do. Why would i spend time doing a Gm when i can get the same reward, easier and faster on Master ? Before the change Adept and Artifice proved that players are willing to put in the extra effort and time for better rewards. And they were better. Extra stats to both your weapons and armor is exactly the reward that people want. People would farm Master dungeons for days to get the perfect Artifice armor. Same for the weapons. The extra crafting materials was also nice. --------------------------------------------- What doesn't help is that Raids and Dungeons only give you 1 item per chest, whilst Fireteam and Arena gives you up to 5 items. Yes you did get more from Strikes before as well, but it was rare and would often be a world drop rather than activity drop. Now if the Tier system got changed to where the Higher leveled content Like raids where to give Tier 3 and 5, then only 1 item per chest would be acceptable and make sense. Make power feel powerful. --------------------------- Not saying that you can't play any of these activities just for fun, but this is a looter shooter. The loot is the thing, and currently it is not there.
