It's happens when Bungie does maintenance. It will resolve itself.

Really because this issue OP has been having always happens to me its been happening since I downloaded it months and months ago as kindly as I can say it bungie needs to accept that the destiny 2 companion app on android has a issue and actually needs to fix it.

Had the same issue for months. Delete, redownload, sign in, sign out, nothing fixes it. Just have to keep reloading until it finally sometimes works although most of the time I just give up. Text bar is covered now too so you can't see what you are typing.
